We are often at Country Park in Greensboro, NC. It’s a calm, pleasant park next to the Greensboro Science Center, and is filled with meandering paths, relaxing benches, a hanging swing, multiple large stone turtles that have been painted by the kids, and birds. We have seen many birds while walking there, and one of the unique benefits of being both retired and photographers, is that we have the time to sit and observe and become more aware of their habits.
The Reno Air Races were a long-time dream for Bill. He had attended for years as a spectator, and then had the great opportunity to be a pylon judge for a couple of those years. See the blog post for some stories you won't forget.
Welcome to our Where We Wander blog. My wife Susan and I really enjoy going to new places, meandering off the beaten path, capturing images and then weaving them into a memory for us. We welcome you to our wanderings.
